Design & Development

Design

Our mission is to help connect you to your target audience. We do it for a fraction of traditional advertising costs. The nature of the internet medium allows your audience to interact with your organization at their convenience. Great visual designs, acute user interfaces, and solid content is what we do. So far it seems to be working. Think about it, when you want to research a product, company, service or anything for that matter, where do you turn? My guess is right here, the internet.

Everything is designed. Few are designed well.

We understand how users interact with websites and thus we are able to create engaging experiences. Differentiation is what it is all about. Making you stand out from your competition lets customers see you can provide something new and unique.

Great websites are rare but when you do come across one, you know. Customers, clients, or even investors will expect you to have a clear, intuitive, quality website that lets them fully interact with your organization and get the information they need. We have provided custom web design, development, and planning for websites large and small so we can cater to your needs.

Development

At Otreva Designs, not only do we help customers make customized websites, but we also develop custom applications for Joomla! and WordPress to fulfill unique needs. Below is our 4 step process we follow when helping create a custom application:

Development Process

1. Learning objectives.

Learning the specific goals of your custom Joomla! application is the first step in our custom application development process. In this step we learn what your goal is in creating the application.

2. Research features

This step in the process requires us to think about the end user of the application. What is the end-users goal of the application? What steps do they have to take to reach that goal? This step helps us determine how the real application will work and what necessary features are necessary.

3. Design Interface

Step 3 combines the above. This is how the user will interact with the features in order to reach your objective. Much of the implementation phase is learned from this step so it is important to think of how the interface should function for your user.

4. Implement Solution

Implementing the application is the last step in the process. This is where everything comes together and the application is born. After building the application, it is tested for each different use to ensure it function accurately and feels like it should. Implementation also involves extensive testing to ensure that the application works correctly for every end user regardless of browser or other requirements.
